RiverCity Outrigger Canoe Club Inc. (ROCC) was started in 2005 by a small group of motivated individuals who wanted to develop a new metro club in Brisbane. Our mission is to promote the tradition of canoe paddling, health, fitness and friendship in our community and sportsmanship among our members.

As a small establishing club, ROCC survives on fundraising activities held throughout the season. Our member base is growing steadily and it is anticipated that ROCC will have a prosperous future in the SQ Zone. Some of our members have travelled internationally and have been successful as well as being positive ambassadors for the sport of Outrigging. ROCC now has a very enthusiastic Junior Squad and in the 08/09 season the club envisages having 4 junior crews.

It is our goal to continue to build this club, but in order to grow we need funding and assistance to acquire more equipment, partnerships with business groups to make this happen at our new location at Colmslie.
